FAQs
Why is the sky blue?
This is a frequently asked question. Usually by kids. Interestingly, I toyed with the idea of blood red sky. It looked pretty sick, but it really messed up sunsets. So I went with blue.
You keep saying you’re not God. Are you?
Absolutely not.
Are you sure?
Uhm, yes? I’m just a regular dude. I can’t dance, I once woke up on the floor of a Mexican bar with sawdust in my mouth. Does that sound like God to you? (Please say no.)
Is this a real book?
Yes. The author’s name is Ralph Calderon. He’s currently editing the first draft and hopes you’ll read it when it’s finished.
Is this satire? Serious? Blasphemy?
It’s a little bit of all of those. Well, blasphemy is in the eye of the reader. Is that a thing? The eye of a reader? I hope so.
Can I read the book now?
You can read the prologue (until the author edits it and it’s no longer the prologue, if that happens) in The Novel section. The rest of the book will hopefully be available one day before the world ends. Not that I’m going to end the world. Not that I even could end the world, since I’m just a normal person.
Who is Jimmy, really?
All I can tell you is who he is not. He is not dead. Not an angel. Not a husband and father who misses his family despite surprisingly ending up in Heaven.
Are there any more FAQs?
No.
Not even if I scroll down, like on the homepage?
Absolutely not.
There is another question! Why do you lie so much?
I mean, at this point it’s to get under your skin a little. Call it revenge. In honesty, you’re lucky. I once turned a woman to salt and I also flooded the whole world and… no, wait, no. That wasn’t me. Never mind. I’m just a regular person.
I believe in you. Do you believe in me?
I very much want to.
